The past couple of years has been somewhat of a rollercoaster for me. It has consisted of long periods of "normal life" interrupted by short bursts of the most beautiful life I can imagine. I've experienced many gatherings and festivals where I feel connected, valued, and free, and normal life hasn't been very fun in comparison. There is sadness in noticing that my normal life is not as good as I believe it could be. But there's also joy in noticing how lucky I am to have these beautiful experiences. And finally, there's hope that we work towards making normal life more beautiful. To create a "rising tide of beauty" that will gradually seep into our normal lives.
